Musically, spiritually, emotionally and socially, there exists a hole that has been filled with emptiness.  While we continue to show up, work our jobs and live our lives, it's almost as if the world has stopped dead in it's tracks, and everyone has been too passive, or scared or bewildered to truly move on.  Artistic phases have come and gone since the first caveman scrawled yak blood on it's wall, but artistic death lingers from that apocalyptic day in '01.

"September 12" by the PCP is an attempt to turn the page.  Not to forget or minimize the impact that day had on us as a society, but to try to figure out what that next day would have been, or what it could be.  While the skyline has been physically changed, we still see what's not there.

Utilizing some of NY's best musicians, the PCP will try to navigate some difficult turf.  They hope for a release at the end of the year, but vow that it will not see the light of day until it's ready.

The PCP enters it's third year with a few changes.  With drummer Scott Wilson alive and well and living in Arizona, lead guitarist Pat Cioffi has brought in some new faces including guitarist Rob Gooch, drummer Scott Frase and keyboardist Ted Allan to the existing lineup.

The PCP has taken a performance break to create a new album.  Pat, the main songwriter, is forging a new approach to the followup album to 2003's "afterthought" with a meditation on September 11th.  Going for a "more varied" and "harder" sound, Pat wants the new album to be more collaborative in nature, and will go into the studio with more sketches and less completed arrangements.  He also hopes to bring in longtime friend and outstanding guitarist Jeff Gjersoe as well as a couple of new producers to help develop an urgent, vibrant vibe.
